Activity Coordinator

Plans, organizes, directs and conducts therapeutic recreational and specialized activity programs designed to be meaningful and person centered care. Oversees program assistants in the implementation of activities under the supervision of the Center Manager in accordance with the Agency for Health Care Administration, Department of Elder Affairs and other regulatory entities.

  • The Health and Wellness Program needs individual(s) who have an interest to be trained to become certified to teach in the following classes:
    1. Matter of Balance
    2. Chronic Disease Self-Management

CARES Inc. will pay for the training and upon completion of the course, individuals will be requested to execute a letter of agreement and be expected to execute 6 complete classes by year end.

  • The Health and Wellness Program needs individual(s) who have an interest to be trained to become certified to teach in the following classes:
    1. Chronic Disease Self-Management
    2. Chronic Pain Self- Management

Classes will be held on April 4th and April 6-9. April 9th will be a cross-training for Chronic Pain Self- Management; however, participants must take the Chronic Disease Self- Management course before. To become certified, potential leaders must be present for all 5 days, from 9 am-5 pm.
