Jemith Rosa earned her undergraduate degree in Management and International Business from Turabo University and her Master of Public Administration from the East University. Jemith has over 30 years of professional experience in supervision, setting and implementing goals and objectives, budgeting, initiating contracts, and overseeing contractors ensure service provision quality. Jemith is a certified instructor for dual language professional studies, an instructor of Master in Public Administration courses, including Strategic Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship, Research Methods in Government and Legislative Affairs, as well as Development of Proposals. Additionally, earning a certification as an Adult Day Care Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Trainer from the University of South Florida and the Florida Policy Exchange Center on Aging.
In 2013, Jemith earned her accreditation from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the University of South Florida as an assisted living facility administrator. and completed over 200 hours of continuing professional education credits over the past five years from the Center for Professional Development at the Florida State University – Elder Leadership Institute and the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Currently, she is serving on several committees for the Florida Association of Service Providers (FASP), the Florida Council on Aging (FCOA), Pasco Aging Network (PAN), Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (FAFCC), Home Care Association of Florida (HCAF), American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and several civic and community groups including the Rotary Club.
MIKENEUMANN, CMA, MBA
Mike comes to CARES, Inc. with 23 years of nonprofit charity experience. He has a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification. His 7 years of academics include a BSBA in Accounting from Ohio State University, an MBA with cum laude honors from Tampa College; he has also taken 1 year of additional studies in advanced Accounting courses. His experience includes the industries of healthcare and human services and extensive experience with federal and state grants and contract funding. Mike's primary focus is to ensure the financial stability of the organization. He does this to enable the management teams and the Board of Directors to focus on fulfilling the mission and continue to provide the best possible services to our clients.
Mike has experience implementing systems and building out sophisticated and flexible reporting capabilities, and putting controls, processes, and procedures in place to support the company as it scales. He is the point of contact for external auditors and governmental and regulatory agencies.
Gail Holton comes with 27 years in aging services; her background includes leadership positions in Hospitals, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Adult Day Services. Holton is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communications. Having spent 15 years with the Area Agency on Aging for SWFL, she has extensive knowledge of the programs and services offered throughout the Department of Elder Affairs and the Florida aging network.
HOME HEALTH ADMINISTRATOR
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Butler moved to the U.S. in 1995. Beginning at the United States Air Force, Butler comes with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. In 2003, he graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine. Eventually, earning a Graduate degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University in 2015. His background includes extensive healthcare operations experience, with a focus on Home Health skilled nursing.
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Originally hailing from Miami, FL, she is a recent graduate from Barry University. Mathe pursued a Master’s in Public Administration, specializing in nonprofit administration. During her time at Barry, she focused her work on public service issues, utilizing advocacy, and capacity building. Mathe is passionate about fundraising, community partnerships, and effective administrative decision making. Overall, she enjoys planning for change and the various means of production within the public sector.
